I finally had the time to revive this blog after many unfortunate events which made it dead, soo, i'm back ..... yay :P.
Hopefully with an ambitious and optimistic start though.
Anyhow, while browsing through the internet, i came across a really bizarre blog which caught my attention and literally cracked me up. Modawanat Um Nowair is a typical Kuwaiti-Badawi blog written by a female writer. Um Nowair, or Joaza as she calls herself, represents what most of us lack to convey; a true point of view told by a real Kuwaiti language & identity. Sadly, the Kuwaiti dialect is absent from many blogs, and my blog as well which is quite unpromising and frustrating. I don't know why we turn to English in every event possible, maybe because it's easy and understandably comprehended?
Whatever it is, Joaza not only speaks [or spoke actually] in Arabic, but she resolved to her native dialect; mainly Badawi. It was pretty courageous by her to stand against globalization in this manner. It was a funny-read blog and worth the time. Although i didn't get many of the words, but it sure made me laugh.

Welcome back! :)
That reminds me of the only entry I made in Arabic which was a condolence note. hmm...
The only reason I'm writing in English on my blog is to make it ecco through the web otherwise I would have written everything in Arabic cuz it would be easier for me to put out my thoughts using my native language though, regarding most techie topics I write about, it'd be harder to explain using another language than English.
Every blog/site/forum with certain language has its own regular readers but when it's written in English it gets directed towards a bigger crowd. I guess that's the main reason why most people write in English.
And welcome back.
welcome back ;)

I always have a difficulty reading Arabic blogs and posts, let alone ones with dialect!
But it is a good thing that someone would want to write in their own native language and dialect to add a touch to it :)
Welcome back!
