Speaking of which, I saw the pictures of the new Honda Accord and i kinda liked it. I'm getting bored already with my car. So i'm having this crazy idea of replacing it with the new model.
Mine's still brand new and in perfectely excellent shape. The seats are still wrapped, the cars manual as well. There are no stains whatsoever, the cabinet and the rest of the cars accessories are too in perfect condition.

I bought it in 2006 and drove for 30000 kms. So therefore, i'm estimating that it will be worth of 4000 KD at the dealership .. Alot of people are undermining it and say it won't go as beyond as 3000 KD and specially my parents :\
.
I'm really confused now. I wanna change my car to the newest model but i'm being way too unsensible. I'll graduate in the summer and immdiately continue working at my current job, so i will get the chance to buy a whole different one! But even though, if it happaned and it got replaced, there won't be such difference in the value because the new car's price hasn't been changed of the old model. So technichally, if i replaced it now and bought another one later that year i won't lose at all! It's like i've maintained my current car only with a newer model.

haha .. what was I about to say? Ah yes, Cars are not purses; you cannot simply throw away the old one and get a new one. Bear in mind the cash loss when switching. And whoever told you it won't get past 3000KD is right. If it's gonna get any higher it won't get above 3,400/500 KD MAX.
You'd be doing better saving up for another car to buy after graduation. + your advantage of being able to have non-interest loans, right? Think about it.
Regarding the last part...
It's not a big deal at all. I drive a 350Z and I started to hate it because of the dealer, so what??
However, you may not have exposed your whole life by unveiling which car you drive but you might get some stupid stalkers who'd catch you between the crowd and give you hard time.

In fact, I have been contemplating for the last 2 days the idea of changing my car (I bought the old honda accord 2007-old version around 3 months ago)..I drove around 3500 kms in it but I already know a buyer who is willing to buy it at a price similar to the price I got..only 5% loss..and the additional 10 000 riyals for the new car...but I guess my idea is too wild
I believe like Hamza if you have a buyer willing to buy it at a respectable price then sure, other than that it is better to just get a new car later on!
I don't have a problem revealing my car, Jeep lexus, but then again, I wouldn't have a problem revealing my name, but I just like N. better :p

Loala - I suggest you listen to what Mac says. Hamza's case is different, but you already drove 30000 with it (but if you sell it in Dubai you will get a much better deal, since we drive twice as much in a year).
