A Country to Pride a Man

Who is he?
Hamad Darwish, 24 years old and who was born in Kuwait. In 2001, he moved to the United States as a full-time student to get his bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science from Oregon Institute of Technology. After obtaining his degree in 2006, he moved back to Kuwait with his family. He is currently an employee in the Ministry of Health, working in a public hospital specialized for chest diseases. He works as a CT (CAT scan) Radiographer and also as a network administrator in the Medical Imaging Department.

What did he do?
He was approached by Microsoft after being impressed by his photography and bought two images to serve as Windows Vistas Wallpaper.

Yes! windows bought his images to be included in Microsoft newest operating system; Vista and work as wallpapers for the desktop. What an achievement mashalla 3laih, i respect him for the dedication he made in order to mesmerize Microsoft. I couldn't help but go browsing through his flickr and i swear, i couldn't take my eyes off of his photography. I've seen many talented people but this guy in particular, is beyond talent. His images were extravagant, extraordinary, fascinating, seemingly inexprissable! I applaud him for what he did and wish him all the luck in his hobby. You can check his flickr Here and read his interview [link]. Now how proud can this country be? but i'm surprised that non of the newpapers nor any officials mentioned it! This opportunity only comes once in a lifetime, not only that, but it gets to spread worldwide and what did he get? ingnorance! All i can say is, congratulations for Microsoft and the US for they knew when to seize the intelligent of all.

Its good to know that his talent is appreciated and not wasted. In our country, we're specialized in killing talents.
