I'm a light-sleep-person, which means that i have to have a serene and calm environment in order for me to have a good night sleep. But nooooo, someone's determent real hard to prevent that from happening. And who would that be? a fricking cricket! The damned creature keeps chirping the whole night non stop! Not just that, he won't simply die! i've tried spraying organic aerosols and throwing those colored balls at the pot which happens to be right under my window but he's like fricking invincible!! HE WON'T DIE and i really wanna sleep! it's been a week and i haven't literally slept :'(
Which brings me to another point. I don't know if you guys have noticed my latest tag. I mentioned that one of my phobias is losing my teeth and corresponding to that, i keep having nightmares of losing my teeth, have a wonky one or see them all extracted in my hand [no, no one has died] and i can feel myself clenching and grinding them, in real i mean. So while browsing through the internet, i came across an interesting sleeping disorder called Sleep Bruxism. It's a disorder in which you clench and grind you teeth while sleeping! talking about weird stuff ha!

I am sure you are sleeping now after writting this post :) NoOm el3aWafY.....zzzZZZZzzz
Eee, i heard of this teeth clenching while sleeping. My friend's dentist recommended she make this retainer-like thing to wear while sleeping. It prevents any harm that cud be caused by clenching.
And falling teeth in dreams? Well, there is a common explaination, but don't worry about it. It's probably just a bad dream. :)
I hate all insects in the wholw entire world! Except ants. The tiny one bs. I say call insect control and get rid of that pest.
I had Sleep Bruxism when I was a young kid. But after I had all my lower teeth taken out and replaced them with an artificial lower jaw (just for a few years, I have natural teeth now) it was gone.
As for the cricket, I advise you to move to a nearby couch :D
These blasted little things are relentless.
Good luck :)
lol i feel your pain, haven't had a good night sleep in forever, the AC is too hot and the thermostat is in my sis's room which is travailing and the room is locked XD
sometimes i just wana go and break the damn door XD
amu,
I didn't sleep, again! =\
shoush,
Really!! did the retainer help? because it's really annoying and i'm afraid of breaking one of my teeth someday if i kept doing it.
Kinan,
It has only started after i wore braces and it wouldn't stop...
I can't sleep at the couch either, his chrip surrounds the whole house ... =\
Nomad,
LOL!
I think you should break the door too, the heat is overwhelming!
That is just got to suck badly... no sleep for a week?!?!
Yes =\
omg dont you ever clench ur teeth :|
7adda extremely not good! my mom was going through some issues after her cousin's death so she went through some kinda depression which made her clench her teeth while sleeping. now she suffers from non-stop pain in her jaw & ears!! which she would have had if it wasn't for clenching in the first place.. =D!!!
take a warm shower before your bedtime, drink some herbal tea, stuff ur ears, close ur eyes and zzzzz!
aw etha kelsh kelsh..change the room ;Pp
Threaten the cricket with a frying pan and a Chinese recipe and it will stop bothering you.
Work out!
I started doing yoga at night and I fall asleep like a log. Watching TV on the couch with the lights. Try it :P
i dont know how to help u with ur sleeping disorder
but bruxisim is very common
and it can really hurt your teeth, u should go to the dentist and ask for a NIGHT GAURD, its something you put in your mouth when u sleep to stop u from grinding them
Missy,
It's incontrolable missy =\
But i'll go with your advice ;)
Kj,
eeeeew! *goes to throw her chips*
The bastard died finally after spraying intensive chemical fluids :P
elijah,
I'm not fit enough, besides, i don't think they have yoga classes here or do they?
eshda3wa,
Ok now i'm scared :(
But it's not constant, it happenes moslty once in a month
